Bad week again

this is getting kind of like a circle, you get one good week then you get a bad one. Last week was really good. For a start, I joined a gym, yeaap les mills or fitness first, same thing just different name here. Got my wife and another friend of mine to join in. Started going to the classes ie body balance, bodyjam etc, bodyjam was the hardest with my kaki kayu, couldn't really do the beyonce bootylecious dance, but bodybalance was really good, got all the muscle stretch out!!. Then suddenly was down and out with coughing and flu fever...arrrgh!!!
To make matter worst this week Alison and Norman is away for 3 weeks and yours truly have to sort of run the dept of OP here. Getting out the reports bla bla, lots of cases, and as things couldn't get any worst whole lot of SCC came in and the surgeons couldn't believe that some of it is SCC. Luckily I showed Noelyn (another pathologist at Dunedin Hospital) and get her to counter sign. The surgeons had a little discussion with her and Noelyn being such a good person said that it is a credit to me to diagnosed these difficult cases and lucky they have me to depend on. Thank Noelyn!! Any way, can't wait until the weekend to have a break.

What a week!!!

It has been a really roller coaster ride this week. Emotions runs from the deepest canyon to highest mountain for me. Well, whatever it is I am glad it is all over now. As someone said" love is the only lesson worth learning". No need to discuss it here, lets bygone be whatever hell it suppose to be.
My strength must be god and those night prayers. One thing I must stress to others is that "love thy self before loving others...or else you be use dude!!, like what the erythemic said". Anyway, this week I started running my immunos again after disastrous running last week. Heard news from UKM that we need to decide to choose whether to retire at 56 or 58?? 2 years longer?? I was already planning to be film director by 55, sighh!!

White weekend, black weekdays

It snowed last weekend in Dunedin, probably just about 1 cm, not much ehh..... but at least it got all of us excited. My children especially, since they really wanted to see snow. The temperature drop to about 0 C degree and it start snowing at 12:30 am Saturday night for about 10 minutes. Come Sunday morning, wallah!! snow!. By afternoon it all melted. We managed to snow sledge near Otago boys' school as they got got slop. Sunday was fine but suddenly.....got some bad news that I knew it was coming to hit me anyway.
This bad news will no doubt affect me through out this week and actually it will never ever get better, but that is life. I pray hard to God to make me strong to face this. Meanwhile, my PhD work has got to go on no matter what. I must do this for all intention. This is what will built my character and to discover something new for the sake of humanity. It is a noble cause as I would like to imagine Mr Frodo, bearing the weight of the world on him and the temptation of the all but one ring that bind all others, on the quest against eye of Sauron.....thats me.
Got letter from UKM, saying that my scholar got in, nice of Aida to do it early this time. Thank Aida!!! Meanwhile spoken to my mom and as usual she complain about Msian politics. Sigh!! No one does politics for peoples sake like what Tunku, Onn Jaafar, Tun Ismail. These are the through bred of politician to the very day they die. Nowadays is it always about positions, money, family, big houses, big car, title and respect. No...no,no it has to be about buying new iphone. By the way the new iphone look really cool and half the price!! it run on 3G, felt sorry for those who bought it at 600 with no 3G.
